You can experience nature and discover biological diversity at the "botanika" in Bremen.

In the discovery center you are up close and learn the history of the special plants. A real insider tip is the wild herb kitchen. There you can learn which herbs have healing effects and which are rather not suitable for consumption – you can "try out and join in" at interactive exhibits. 

Other highlights include the Tropical House and the Asian Landscape – well worth a visit!

Discovery center
The large plant collection in the "botanika" offers everything an explorer's heart desires. There is also a bee colony and a chameleon to see. 

Asian landscape
A piece of "Asia" can also be explored in the "botanika". Particularly worth seeing here are the large Buddha statue, the koi, and the breathtaking landscape of the Himalayas and the rainforests of Borneo.

The Tropical House
Hundreds of butterflies in their colorful variety fly through the Tropical House. Among the plants on display are coconut palms, tropical creepers and even small apes in their natural environment.
