Vegesack Harbour Festival

The Vegesack Harbour Festival offers a great deal of music, maritime attractions, happy people and a great atmosphere surrounding Vegesack harbour.

Since the Vegesack Harbour Festival first started in 1980 with the motto of “Ganz Vegesack feiert das Harbour Festival, feiern Sie mit!” (Everyone in Vegesack is celebrating the Harbour Festival, come and celebrate with us!), these wonderful three days are always hosted along the Vegesack maritime mile during the first weekend in June.

A large array of music and vocal groups, in addition to solo artists present themselves at Vegesack Harbour Festival. The maritime part is occupied with an array of different ships which, for the largest part, also remain in Vegesack Museumshaven. More than 50 booths, with a great variety of culinary delights and comprehensive selection of beverages, ensure that no-one goes hungry. Hawkers offer their goods for sale along Weser promenade.
